Pre-infusion preparation
A 50-minute session before your first infusion. Clarify symptom targets, identify entrenched cognitive loops, map defensive parts likely to surface, build a post-infusion regulation plan.
Therapy is optional, never required. Bring your own, work with our partner Karly Salcido, or skip it entirely.
Ketamine creates a 7 to 10 day window of neuroplasticity after an infusion, a period when the brain is more receptive to new patterns. Therapy in that window can help translate the experience into lasting change.
Therapy & Integration Ketamine works best when the experience is held and integrated. We offer three approaches — choose what fits your life.
Bring your own therapist. If you already have a therapeutic relationship, keep it. We'll collaborate with your provider by sharing intake and treatment notes with your consent. Work with Karly Salcido, our partner therapist.
Karly practices neurobiologically-informed integration therapy, timed around the post-infusion window — the period when the brain is most receptive to change. She specializes in trauma, complex PTSD, dissociation, chronic stress, mood disorders, and dual diagnosis. Pre-infusion sessions help clarify what you're working toward and settle your nervous system before treatment. Post-infusion sessions help you metabolize the experience and turn insight into lasting change.
Go your own way. Some patients do beautifully with infusions alone — especially those with a strong support network, or established practices like journaling, meditation, or music listening that help them process and integrate. If that's you, we'll trust your lead.
Karly is independent. She is licensed in California (LMFT), takes payment separately, and is not part of Phos billing.
Separately priced, not bundled
$300 per 50-minute psychotherapy session with Karly Salcido. Same $300 rate for enhanced support sessions (more frequent during the neuroplastic window, or in-room presence during infusion as a scheduled therapeutic hour). Available Monday through Wednesday, 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and select Saturdays. Telehealth or in-person.
Bringing your own therapist? Free. We will coordinate notes with appropriate consent.
A 50-minute session before your first infusion. Clarify symptom targets, identify entrenched cognitive loops, map defensive parts likely to surface, build a post-infusion regulation plan.
For patients with complex trauma or heightened anxiety, Karly offers an optional in-room presence as a scheduled therapeutic hour. Real-time grounding and affect regulation if needed.
Sessions in the 7 to 10 day window after each infusion. Reconstruct and metabolise the experience, identify shifts in self-perception, translate insight into concrete behaviour.
Continued sessions at the cadence that fits your nervous system. Some patients need weekly, others biweekly. Karly tailors frequency to clinical need, not a standard package.
Our PA reviews every intake personally. Most patients hear back within one business day.
